I should be useto spending Valentines day alone. Even when I was with someone I was always alone. Yesterday my son reminded me that nothing else mattered, that all this time I was never alone.
Yesterday morning he says: Mom, I made this card for Kristina can you see if I spelled her name right.
Not thinking twice I went over and looked, it had my name on it. and On the back it said be mine!
I bent down and just hugged him. It was a moment that I will hold with me forever. The smile on his face and the warmth that he gave my heart made me realize that all this time, he was always there and nothing else mattered.
I hope that yesterday everyone had that same moment, where you realize that what you needed, you have always had.
