Today is the last week that I had to work 7-5...Cheering in the back round....I can not wait to go back to 8-4 next week. These extra 2 hours a day killed me. Ugh waking up at 5 sucks and I feel for all those people who do it on a regular basis. I will gladly take my 8-4....
My son starts the 4th grade soon..NO why do kids have to grow up...really...I went school shopping and got his foot measured and his feet grew a whole size in 2 months!!!! I was sitting in the sneaker store yelling at this guy that there was no way my son was a 5 1/2 sneaker....as though he wasn't looking at his foot on the measuring thingy...I'm in denial and I know it. But we all have to get older I guess.
On another note all my plans for last weekend went down the drain. It rained and it sucked.
On a horrible note. Last Friday some little boy ran in front of my car and I hit him!!! I can not begin to tell you how I felt and still feel when I think about it. It all happened so fast and I swear with in 10 minutes it was over. He is fine, Thank God. I was a wreck. I honestly don't know how I drove home I was shaking and crying so bad. As a mother I just keep thinking that I hit someones child. And I am ok with the fact that it wasn't my fault. Everyone clearly seen that. I don't understand how as parents, we don't teach our children how to cross the street. Something so simple and yet not doing so can kill a child/person. Its so sad how some parent are raising their children and yet the minute something tragic happens, they are so quick to blame someone else. People need to start actually parenting. I thank God that the little boy is ok...It was something that I will never forget...
I look forward to a drama free filled weekend...
